Private healthcare network

Care, considered.

Clinic is four small buildings and nine clinicians. Appointments run to thirty minutes, you see the same person each time, and everything discussed is written down in language you can actually use.

Position

Healthcare feels rushed because it is scheduled to be. We schedule it differently — smaller lists, longer appointments, and the same clinician across years rather than visits.

Everything else follows from that. Rooms are designed for conversation rather than throughput. Results are explained in person. Referrals are arranged before you leave, not posted to you afterwards.

It is a modest idea, carried out precisely.

03Patient experience

What it is like to be here

Four decisions that shape every visit, from the door to the follow-up.

  1. 01

    You are met, not processed

No counter, no ticket, no queue. Someone greets you by name and tells you honestly how long the wait will be.

  2. 02

    Thirty minutes as standard

Long enough to describe the problem twice, which is usually how long it takes to describe it properly.

  3. 03

    The same clinician

Continuity is written into the schedule. You are not starting again at every appointment.

  4. 04

    A summary you can keep

A short written record of the conversation, sent the same day, phrased so you can share it with anyone.

04Care pathway

How care moves

Five steps, arranged as a loop rather than a line — follow-up returns you to the same clinician rather than the start of a queue.

0102030405Continuity
  1. 01

    Register

A short conversation about what you are looking for, then you are matched with a clinician.

  2. 02

    First visit

A longer appointment. History, context, and what you would like from the relationship.

  3. 03

    A written plan

What was discussed and what happens next, sent the same day in plain language.

  4. 04

    Between visits

Messages go to your own clinician’s team. Follow-ups are held in protected slots.

  5. 05

    Annual review

A yearly conversation that resets the plan — and returns you to step two, with the same person.

06Resources

Before and after

Short, practical notes about navigating an appointment. Not medical guidance.

  • Before3 min read

    Preparing for a visit

A short routine for the day before an appointment, so the time in the room is spent on the conversation rather than on recall.

    • Write down what you would most like to have covered, in order
    • Note when you first noticed whatever prompted the appointment
    • Bring the name of anything you take regularly, exactly as written on the packet
    • Decide whether you would like someone with you, and say so when booking
  • After4 min read

    Understanding your care plan

What the written plan you receive after an appointment is for, and how to use it between visits.

    • A plan records what was discussed and what happens next — nothing more
    • It is written to be shared with family or another clinician
    • If a line does not make sense, that is worth a message rather than a guess
    • Plans are revised at follow-up rather than replaced silently
  • Before3 min read

Questions to bring to an appointment

Four general questions that tend to make any appointment more useful, whatever it is about.

    • What are we trying to find out today?
    • What are the options as you see them?
    • What would make you want to see me sooner?
    • Who do I contact between now and the next appointment?
